Scottishgraffiti documents the artwork by Scottish artists within the Scottish Graffiti scene and further afield.
This site does not encourage or promote graffiti or any other illegal activities in any way, shape or form.
The nature of graffiti is such that very few pieces are still standing after any period of time. This site hopes to showcase all those forgotten treasures as well as give an insight into the history of the scene and the various writers who contributed to it.

If this is the direction graffiti is going then I need to stick a knife in the toaster already.
@Jings:
You're freaking losing it buddy...
youz all take graff to seriously, why spend hours cutting back with your montana goldzzzzz
@ Anon.
Not all graffiti is headed this way, what the Yoots do is simply a different direction, the more directions the better I think.
When everything starts to look the same, feeding off the same sources, that's when you should get the toaster out.

@ capitano jings, would you or anyone else be rating these guys if they actually were this shite and weren't doing it deliberately
These make me extremely happy!
@ Raised Alarm.
I get what your saying and understand why your not into what they are doing.
To me the styles suite the personality of the writers that make them, that's probably why I like them so much.
But it's not to everyone's taste, I know.
i guess i'd have to see them painting to actually get it, maybe i'd appreciate then cos id have seen the process.
the process has absolutely fuckall to do with it, you tit
The appeal of this style is they don't have to spend 20 years learning to paint, design, and generally paying dues to become a real street nika. They ca n do this at age 18 and 'be cool'. Ask SMUG what he thinks of this. He'd say "Second rate silly shit. Not on our level at all."
