Scottishgraffiti documents the artwork by Scottish artists within the Scottish Graffiti scene and further afield.
This site does not encourage or promote graffiti or any other illegal activities in any way, shape or form.
The nature of graffiti is such that very few pieces are still standing after any period of time. This site hopes to showcase all those forgotten treasures as well as give an insight into the history of the scene and the various writers who contributed to it.

did jinky do the design pieces or did a couple of them do em?
Did Jinky become Rave?
That character is bonus, looks quite manga, funky letters too.
Im not sure who Design was, I think it might have been Jinky but im not sure.
Those letters are really well executed, so easy to have made them look shite.
Never really thought about the characters having a manga look to them but they really do. I always locked in the 2000ad stuff that the guys were doing at that time so this was a bit different and made you take notice - not quite a bboy styled character but almost.
You can tell its the eighties - check out that hair, wham flick or what?
flicks never go out of fashion!
Think Jinky did become Rave, will have to ask Bip.
I remember this lot used to do portraits of themselves next to pieces.
Rave showed me his sketch books once (which were really good & had some really mad letter styles) but he had started drawing the page 3 models from the Sun every day in his jotters, they were pretty acurate...
yes jinky became rave i know cos its me (crow) feck i never thought i would see that again
good to see you drop by crow. any old flicks that you have send them through.
Was this on the side of a building up Timex Brae? Remember seeing it, but can't remember where.
