Scottishgraffiti documents the artwork by Scottish artists within the Scottish Graffiti scene and further afield.
This site does not encourage or promote graffiti or any other illegal activities in any way, shape or form.
The nature of graffiti is such that very few pieces are still standing after any period of time. This site hopes to showcase all those forgotten treasures as well as give an insight into the history of the scene and the various writers who contributed to it.

yawn, are we not supposed to use graf to smash these apparent 'celebrity' figures, instead of making some kind of cheap au naturalle-esque canvas of them?
I wouldnt say that Marilyn Monroe is a 'celebrity' seen as shes been dead for god knows how long... Marilyn Monroe is an icon. And you can use graf to do whatever you want with it... there is no 'we' involved as we are all individuals.
To the first anonymous poster---
Im not quite sure that the idea behind graff is to use it to smash celebrity figures. I thought that it was about getting your name out there with as much style as possible.
Personally im no great fan of stencil work due to the amount of really badly done work that is out there. However, it does have to be said that when its done well that it can be quite impressive. This piece IMO is very well executed and looks fuckin great.
