Casp. MSC. Corrie Hill

This piece is possibly from 95 or 96 I think, Casp was a writer from London who lived in Edinburgh for a while and wrote with MSC while he was there. Now he makes music for films in London. Corstorphine was still pretty unpainted then, you can see the outside walls weren't even painted grey yet.

www.capmatchescolor.com

Great site with some classic pics, lovely colour charts and a few interviews. Whats the connections with graff in Scotland? Check out the wee Scottish guy on Rust-oleum flyer (good enough for me!). In fact the story is this - A Scottish-born sea captain, Robert Fergusson, noticed that when raw fish oil spilled on rusty metal decks, corrosion stopped spreading. This observation inspired the Captain to create the world's first rust-preventive paint. But it wasn't easy. After settling in New Orleans, Captain Fergusson spent years of painstaking (and smelly) research in an attempt to formulate a fish-oil-based paint. Finally, in 1921, the Captain got a whiff of the sweet smell of success. He perfected a paint that stopped rust, dried overnight and left no lingering aroma. Rust-Oleum Corporation was born. Go on yersel Rabbie!!
